Peter Liddle has become a regular speaker at our January meetings and this year he is going to talk about Medieval Villages, a topic he has been speaking on in a series of talks about Medieval Leicestershire at the Carnegie Museum in Melton Mowbray. For over 40 years Peter worked as an excavator, survey officer, museum curator, community archaeologist and Head of the Leicestershire County archaeological team.  He was awarded an MBE for services to community archaeology. Peter is an entertaining and knowledgeable speaker. So escape from the misery of this cold and damp January and join us in the Village Hall for what promises to be an excellent evening.

Cost £5 to include a glass of wine.
