Peter needs little introduction as we have enjoyed his talks and walks about Leicestershire archaeology over the years. Bradgate Park is known to many as wonderful open parkland. It is designated as a Site of Soecial Sciretific Interest and attract 400,000 visitors a year. Many of us know that Lady Jane Grey was brought up there, but what was happening in the years before then................ The University of Leicester has embarked on a five year project and their Initial survey reveals that there are potentially over 250 archaeological features that are not documented within official records..

All are welcome and the cost for the talk is £5 which includes a glass of wine.
